We had a some pretty epic weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for clear sunshine, but Mother Nature had other thoughts. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive deluge right in the middle of our adventure!
Our tent quickly turned into a swamp. {Everywhere was soaked through and through. We tried to to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept pouring.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something special about the whole experience. Our group huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing memories and making an effort stay warm.

Well folks, it's been a wild few weeks here on the farm! The crops are blooming like crazy, and I'm totally excited about all the {freshproduce we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {somenew projects that I can't wait to tell you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a couple of {quickhighlights:
* Got around to finishing up the new barn.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been learning some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Rain deluged down, turning our campsite into a muddy mess. But that didn't stop Jess! She was pumped to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a gleeful expression on her face. We struggled to erect our tent, which squealed like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing snacks, the warmth of each other's company banishing the chill. Later, we watched the rain dancing on the leaves, listening to the sounds of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an adventure. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!
